Montgomery resident arrested pursuant to altercation in municipal court

On Thursday, February 12, 2026, during a session of the Millbrook Municipal Court, a defendant, who was present before the Court with regard to an alleged traffic violation,became irate, causing a disruption in the court. As Millbrook police officers, assigned to the Court Security Detail, responded to remove the defendant from the courtroom, the defendant, later identified as Dalvin D. White, a 30-year-old Montgomery resident, physically resisted officer’s efforts to take him into custody, allegedly spitting upon one of the officers during the altercation. Officers successfully deployed a Taser device, after which the alleged offender was taken into custody and removed from the courtroom. Per, Millbrook Municipal Judge Bradley Ekdahl, White was taken into custody for Contempt of Court, being sentenced to 5 days in the Elmore County Jail. White was processed and transported to the Elmore County Jail, without incident.

Due to his actions, White will face additional charges of Assault with Bodily Fluids, Assault 3rd Degree and Resisting Arrest. Warrants have been secured against the alleged offender and they will be served upon him after the completion of his current jail sentence for Contempt of Court, at which time the alleged offender will have an opportunity to make bond on those cases and be assigned a court date to answer to his charges…
