Syracuse, N.Y. – Roars, grunts and yells pulsated through the crowd and on the mat at Onondaga Community College on Saturday as Section III boys wrestlers competed in the inter-class tournament to decide places for the state tournament.
28 Division I wrestlers (top two finishers in each weight class) and 42 Division II wrestlers (top three wrestlers in each weight class) secured their spots in the state tournament, held at Albany’s MVP Arena from Feb. 27-28.
