Palm Beach is considering adding more shade trees along its roadways and sidewalks to help improve the town’s walkability and add much-needed relief from the sun.
An early concept presented by Town Hall staff during the Town Council’s Feb. 10 meeting included cutting out a portion of Seaview Avenue’s sidewalk to add small palm trees along the walkway or widening portions of the sidewalk to allow for larger shade trees.
