Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue, a non-profit organization based in Hudson, Massachusetts, has introduced Jake, a 5-year-old Golden Retriever seeking a loving family. Despite initial shyness, Jake’s personality shines through once he feels comfortable. “I’m a certified dog’s dog, meaning I love other dogs and other dogs love me,” the rescue describes. “My dog friends at YGRR have helped me feel more secure and I’ve helped them build their confidence!” His love extends beyond canine companions, as the rescue explains: “Don’t be fooled though, I am totally in love with people too. When I first meet you, I will probably be shy and nervous but once I’ve had a little time to warm up, I’ll be right next to you trying to soak up all the pets I can!”
