Most City of Austin administrative offices and municipal facilities will close on Monday, Feb. 16, in observance of Presidents Day. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 17, but several essential services will continue operating throughout the holiday.
City Services Operating as Usual
Austin Utilities Payments – Residents can continue to make utility payments online at coautilities.com, by phone at 1‑833‑375‑4949, or in person at participating H‑E‑B, CVS, Randall’s, and Walmart locations.
Austin Resource Recovery – Curbside trash, recycling, composting, and other collections will run on their normal schedule. Customers can check pickup days anytime through the Austin Recycles app or at austintexas.gov/myschedule.
