WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Warm weather is expected for the start of the week with very windy conditions arriving on Tuesday, along with very high fire danger.
It will be a cool start to the day on Monday with morning low temperatures in the low to mid 40s. Afternoon highs will soar into the lower 70s. Gusty south winds are expected across south central and southeast Kansas with gusts up to 30 miles per hour at times.
The gusty winds will expand to the entire state on Tuesday with south and southwest winds gusting up to 45 miles per hour. Western Kansas will experience the strongest winds with gusts up to 50 to 60 miles per hour possible…
