(Des Moines, IA) — The Des Moines Police Department is investigating a shooting early this morning that left 3 people hurt.
Police say the shooting happened just before 12:30 Saturday morning at a party on the city’s southeast side. Investigators say witnesses told police that one person left the party after an argument escalated, then started firing a gun into the venue. Police say the gunshots came from a handgun that had been illegally to fire as an automatic weapon.
Three people were shot and hospitalized in stable condition. All three are expected to survive…
