HONOLULU (Island News) – A moped driver was rushed to the hospital following a critical collision that occurred on Keeaumoku St. early Sunday morning.
The incident happened at approximately 3:10 a.m. when a 29-year-old woman on a moped was headed southbound on Keeaumoku St. near Liona St. when, for unknown reasons, traveled to the right of the roadway onto the sidewalk where she struck a hollow-tile cement wall.
As a result of the collision the woman was ejected onto the sidewalk area. The Honolulu Emergency Medical Services (EMS) took her to a nearby hospital in critical condition where she was later listed to be in serious condition…
