Sinkhole injures 3 people in Akron after vehicle gets stuck

AKRON, Ohio (WJW) — The city of Akron confirmed that three people were taken to the hospital Friday evening after a vehicle got stuck in a sinkhole.

The car reportedly landed in the hole located on the 1150 block of North Howard Street around 9:40 p.m. Firefighters and police were called to the scene and three people were determined to have non-life threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for more care.

This was reportedly the second vehicle to hit the sinkhole, but the first one was able to bounce out…
