Within the cohort of survivors was Kurt Rosalik, who suffered a cardiac arrest at home just weeks before greeting the arrival of his daughter. According to the department’s post, the rigorous and continuous training, dedicated teamwork, and untiring execution of CPR allowed him the chance to be alive today, holding his newborn child.
