A Dunkirk man was taken into custody after a federal probation check was conducted at his residence on Friday. Narcotics investigators from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Dunkirk Police Department assisted with the check at 128 South Jerboa Street at about 8:00 AM. According to the Sheriff’s Office, investigators seized 33.2 grams of cocaine, 25.2 grams of methamphetamine, scales and packaging material, and $480.46 in cash. Charges are pending against 40-year-old Christopher Torres, who is in custody on the probation violation. The investigation is ongoing.
