Dog dead, 3 injured after fire at San Jose home

(KRON) — A dog died, and three people were injured after a San Jose home suffered “major” damage from a fire Sunday afternoon, according to the San Jose Fire Department (SJFD). The fire broke out around 4:21 p.m. at a residence on the 10100 block of Endfield Way.

Firefighters were able to knock the fire down by 4:46 p.m. However, two residents and an SJFD firefighter were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. A dog was killed in the fire.
