Dusting of snow kicks off Presidents’ Week in New York, New Jersey

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A light dusting of snow will welcome some tri-state residents to Presidents’ Week.

The overnight temperatures on Sunday into Monday should dip just below freezing in New York City, Long Island and northern New Jersey.

The wet snow, given the ground temperatures, shouldn’t accumulate much more than a dusting for most areas. The low-grade storm system should be out of the area by Monday morning when the temperatures rise above 40 degrees in the city.
