BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech track and field team concluded another strong weekend of competition, highlighted by record-breaking performances from George Couttie, Katie Bohlke and Katrin Brzyszkowska, followed by an array of Hokies breaking into the program’s all-time top 10 list across multiple meets.
George Couttie set a new program record in the mile with a time of 3:52.02 at the ASICS Sound Invite in Winston-Salem, N.C., marking his third program record of the season.
