LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — On a day where men’s lacrosse teams around the country paid homage to late Siena head coach Liam Gleason, the Saints embodied the mantra of their fearless leader – “Bring the Juice” – in their first game played at Hickey Field since his passing in December.
Siena erupted for six first-quarter goals and went on to defeat Hofstra, 14-10, Saturday afternoon, landing win No. 1 of the 2026 campaign, and in doing so, gave coach Tim Cox his first career head coaching victory.
Cox and the entire Saints coaching staff donned green ribbon “LG” lapel pins on the sideline to both honor Gleason and raise awareness for organ donation – a cause that Gleason championed. Through organ donation, Gleason helped save the lives of four people…
