LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Distance Medley Relay of Demi Nicholas, Grace Guilford, Olivia Priddy and Claire Carmichael set a program freshman record with a time of 12:23.89 to highlight UNCW’s final outing before the Coastal Athletic Association championships later this month.
“The women’s DMR was a complete relay today,” said Head Coach Jeff Klaves. “Two weeks ago, they ran 12:38 and had a big-time team improvement, lowering their total time to 12:23. They ran with no fear and were competitive through the line with each relay pass.”
