Today was a nice day but a cold start for many of us in the valley areas. High pressure scoots off towards the north and east and more clouds will move in tonight as a front passes over us. This will bring some light snow and then more mixed precip is on the way tomorrow night!
Futurecast has the snow showers moving in around midnight and could linger until the early morning. Throughout the afternoon we’ll dry out but stay under the clouds with more mixed precipitation likely on the way late Monday-early Tuesday morning. It does not look to amount to much or last long into Tuesday morning but the early AM commute could look messy in certain spots as you head into work.
Tonight temperatures will not be too cold. We have a few light snow showers expected with little to no accumulation forecasted. There could be a few flurries leftover for tomorrow and the rest of the day looks cloudy!
Tuesday will bring some mixed showers with more mild temperatures. Wednesday looks like the most widespread chance of seeing long stretched of rain/snow showers. Thursday looks a bit better in terms of chances for sun with a rain or snow shower possible. Then we are back to looking messy Friday and heading into the weekend with mild temperatures still holding!
And for those of you who have read this far and haven’t heard yet…
Today was my official last day at News10! I have decided to leave the station and move onto my next adventure within my career. I want to thank absolutely everyone who has watched and supported me these for the past 2 years (almost)! It has been an honor to meet some of you in person and talk with you (mainly about the weather). Thank you for all taking a chance on a 21-year-old girl getting her master’s who definitely spoke way too fast (and still does!). It has been an honor to serve the community by delivering the forecast every weekend night and I thank you all for trusting me to do so.
I will be forever grateful for this opportunity and above all the friendships I have made while being here…
