SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — After a rainy and stormy Sunday, a quieter weather pattern will set up for the new workweek. Near-record high temperatures are possible Thursday through Saturday.
Monday morning will start out with a partly cloudy sky with more peeks of sunshine in the afternoon. Low temperatures will be above normal in the upper 40s to lower 50s and afternoon highs will warm into the upper 60s for most locations.
Conditions will be breezy at times because of a cold front moving through the southeastern U.S. Winds will be northerly at 5-15 mph with higher gusts at times.
A warming trend will begin to develop on Tuesday as high pressure settles in over the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Even warmer days are expected by mid-week through Saturday with afternoon highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. There is a chance that local high temperature records are challenged Thursday, Friday and Saturday…
