Milwaukee Cops Collar Suspect In Late-Night Fast-Food Heist Spree

Authorities say a 47-year-old Milwaukee man is at the center of a months-long burglary streak that targeted fast-food joints and a bus company building across the city. Court filings outline alleged break-ins from January 2025 through early February this year, and investigators say they are still working through a growing stack of evidence. The arrest has jittery business owners double-checking locks, safes and security cameras.

What Prosecutors Allege

Prosecutors have charged Tiran Jenkins with five counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary, and court records indicate he is being held in the Milwaukee County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond, according to FOX6. The charges stem from a series of alleged smash-and-grab entries at fast-food restaurants and at least one recent break-in at a business on Oklahoma Avenue, according to the complaint.

Timeline Of Alleged Break-Ins

A criminal complaint detailed by FOX6 links Jenkins to several specific incidents: a Jan. 28, 2025 burglary at a Burger King near Green Bay and Capitol; a July 22, 2025 break-in at a McDonald’s at 9th and North where computer servers and thousands of dollars were taken; and a Dec. 23, 2025 theft at a McDonald’s on Hampton Avenue.

The complaint also ties him to a pair of early February incidents that include an attempted break-in at a South Milwaukee McDonald’s and a Wendy’s on Brown Deer Road, according to FOX6. The outlet reports that police obtained a warrant to search Jenkins’ apartment and that the complaint alleges the broader probe covers about 50 similar or identical burglaries from July 2023 through February 2026. Court filings quoted by the station note that the investigation is ongoing and that additional criminal charges “may be forthcoming.”

How Police Say They Tracked Him Down

Investigators say surveillance cameras and hours of video review were key to identifying a suspect, making the arrest and securing a warrant to search the apartment linked to Jenkins. That playbook tracks with other recent restaurant burglary cases in Milwaukee, where officers have matched security footage to persons of interest to connect multiple incidents, as reported by WISN…
