NEW ORLEANS — The Sewerage and Water Board is working to repair a sewer main break in that’s affecting fewer than ten homes, the agency’s director said.
Executive Director Randy Hayman said the force main break happened at North Galvez and St. Louis Avenue. The water at the site has gone down, and clean-up is underway.
“As you may know, we have a sewer main break, a force main break here at North Galvez and Saint Louis Avenue. And so we’re here making the repair. You can see the water has gone down at this time. There’s been a lot of rain, and so there’s been some surcharging of water,” said Hayman…
