Teen dies, another injured Sunday night in Town and Country crash

TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. — A teen died and another was seriously injured in a crash Sunday night on Interstate 64 in Town and Country.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 9:10 p.m. Sunday on westbound I-64 at Route 141. The report said that the 2018 Audi S4 was going too fast for road conditions, causing it to slide, overturn and strike a median barrier. The Audi then crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a 2019 Jeep Compass before going off the right side of the roadway and hitting an embankment.

The Audi’s driver, a 17-year-old boy from Chesterfield, and passenger, an 18-year-old woman also from Chesterfield, were taken to the hospital by ambulance, according to the crash report. The passenger was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, and the driver remained hospitalized with serious injuries…
