TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. — A teen died and another was seriously injured in a crash Sunday night on Interstate 64 in Town and Country.
According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 9:10 p.m. Sunday on westbound I-64 at Route 141. The report said that the 2018 Audi S4 was going too fast for road conditions, causing it to slide, overturn and strike a median barrier. The Audi then crossed into the eastbound lanes and collided with a 2019 Jeep Compass before going off the right side of the roadway and hitting an embankment.
The Audi’s driver, a 17-year-old boy from Chesterfield, and passenger, an 18-year-old woman also from Chesterfield, were taken to the hospital by ambulance, according to the crash report.
