SPRINGFIELD — If Thurston girls wrestling hopes to take home a third consecutive state championship, it will have to take a similar path to the one it followed to last year’s title.
The Colts took third place at the Class 6A/5A Special District 4 championships Feb. 14 at Springfield High School, finishing with 185 points. Crook County won decisively, with 25 wrestlers racking up 402.5 points. Redmond was second with 256.5.
North Eugene was the next-best local finisher, placing 10th with 77 points…
