Local nonprofit, 11-year-old cancer survivor team up for type O blood drive

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Las Vegas nonprofit known for bringing comic-book heroes to children in hospitals teamed up with a real-life superhero to help address a critical blood shortage.

Critical Care Comics, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Las Vegas, partnered with Benji Sanchez — also known as Super Benji — for a blood drive aimed at boosting donations, especially type O blood.
