LA County to close 7 public health clinics due to funding cuts

Los Angeles County Public Health will close seven of its clinics next week after the department said it was hit with more than $50 million in federal, state and local funding cuts.

The closures include the Curtis R. Tucker clinic in Inglewood, as well as facilities in Hollywood-Wilshire, Pomona, Torrance and Antelope Valley in Lancaster.

The Center for Community Health and the Dr. Ruth Temple Health Center in Los Angeles are also set to shut down…
