EVANS, Ga. — A land disturbance permit has been approved for phase one of the “Project Pumpkin” data center project, giving the green light to begin bulldozing at the site in southwest Columbia County.
The 420-acre site sits between Wrightsboro Road and Appling Harlem Drive and is currently heavily wooded.
