‘Committed to bringing justice’: Cleveland police arrest 2 juveniles in killing of Lyft driver Vasyl Shvets

CLEVELAND — Cleveland police have arrested two juveniles in connection with the Feb. 10 killing of 27-year-old Lyft driver Vasyl Shvets of Parma.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, officers responded to a reported motor vehicle accident at approximately 12:45 a.m. in the 2400 block of East 84th Street. Upon arrival, officers found Shvets had been shot. He was transported to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to officials, the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit launched an immediate investigation. Police say detectives initially traced the ride to a person in Arizona who appeared to have ordered it…
