Handmade comforters will be created for those in need worldwide during the sixth Ohio Mennonite Central Committee Comforter Bash.
The event is set for March 12-14 at the MCC Material Resources Center, located at 4080 Kidron Road, Kidron, according to a community announcement.
Volunteers will work together to combine handmade comforter tops, warm batting and sturdy backing fabric to create the comforters. The squares of fabric that make up the comforter tops have already been sewn together, so volunteers will primarily knot the layers together…
