LYNN, Mass. (WWLP) – A previously convicted felon has been charged with unlawfully possessing firearms and ammunition, as well as distributing crack cocaine.
In a news release from the Department of Justice, 40-year-old Derrick Poe of Lynn allegedly distributed crack cocaine to undercover law enforcement in three separate controlled purchases in Salem. After the third purchase, he was arrested. A search was conducted at his home, which resulted in the recovery of suspected crack cocaine and other evidence of drug distribution, as well as three firearms and ammunition.
