San Bernardino, CA – A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the San Bernardino and Riverside County mountains, where heavy snowfall and strong winds are making travel hazardous along major mountain highways.

According to the National Weather Service in San Diego, snowfall totals of 4 to 8 inches are expected through Tuesday morning above 5,500 feet, with 8 to 16 inches possible between 6,000 and 7,000 feet. Areas above 7,500 feet could see locally higher amounts. Snow levels are expected to fall to between 5,000 and 5,500 feet late Monday night into Tuesday…
