Fresno firefighter breaks leg battling abandoned motel fire

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A firefighter was hospitalized Sunday night after responding to a structure fire at an abandoned motel.

On Sunday, just after 9:30 p.m., firefighters received reports of a fire at a vacant abandoned motel in the 2300 block of S. G Street.

Upon arrival, crews found a fire in the two-story structure.
