CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson University now has another fraternity on probation for hazing after a fourth was added to the list.
According to Clemson’s Organizational Conduct Cases report, Delta Chi was the only organization under investigation from fall 2025.
Repeated incidents at the same location on the South Carolina State University campus have left some students questioning security measures.
The report said in September of 2025, Delta Chi incorporated hazing practices into its new member process which included designated driving, personal servitude, and line-ups that included mild calisthenics. A script was made for all members of the organization to follow that had potential to disrupt the Office of Community and Ethical Standards investigation processes. OCES conducted an investigation into an alleged violation of the university hazing policy and found substantiative evidence to support the finding that Delta Chi was in violation of the university hazing policy.
