Two arrested after Clarendon storage burglaries; one suspect at large

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect involved in a series of burglaries at Brockport-Clarendon Self-Storage. Two people have been arrested so far.

According to deputies, the investigation began on Jan. 4 when they responded to the facility for reports of a burglary. They found evidence that multiple storage units were forcibly entered.

Following multiple burglary and criminal mischief complaints, deputies said they arrested Erin Starkweather and Antonio Suarez. They were charged with the following:

  • Third-degree burglary (Nine counts)
  • Second-degree criminal mischief (One count)
  • Third-degree grand larceny (Two counts)
  • Fourth-degree grand larceny (One count)
  • Fourth-degree criminal mischief (Three counts)
  • Petit larceny (Six counts)
  • Fifth-degree conspiracy (One count)

The Orleans County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Phillip Martinez in connection with the investigation. According to deputies, Martinez has an active arrest warrant for the same charges.
