BROOKSVILLE – Details surrounding felony charges against a Hernando County school employee and three accomplices stemming from a targeted armed robbery just after midnight, Feb. 4, 2026, in Tampa, remain vague.
Lyndell Hudson II, 25, a paraprofessional at Endeavor/Discovery Academy, was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Task Force working in partnership with the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, Feb. 12, off campus.
The former Central High School football standout, who played three seasons collegiately at Florida International University and one season at the University of Florida, was charged with three counts of armed robbery, three counts of armed kidnapping, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, according to a Tampa Police Department news release.
