A Division of Student Life email sent Monday evening informed the Kent State community of a Lake Hall student diagnosed with Neisseria meningitidis, a transmissible bacterial infection.
The student sought care and received the appropriate medical attention, according to the email. Kent State is working closely with the Kent City Health Department, University Hospitals Medical Center and the Ohio Department of Health to ensure all health protocols are met during this time.
