PORT ST. LUCIE — HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital’s new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has celebrated its first official graduate: Rinslet, who was born on Jan. 31 at 33 weeks and weighed only 5 pounds.
After receiving specialized care from the hospital’s team of neonatal experts, Rinslet was discharged last night and returned home with her parents, Marian and Bernaldo, marking a meaningful milestone for both the family and the hospital.
“Our NICU was built to ensure families in our community have access to high-quality neonatal care close to home,” said Corey Lovelace, chief executive officer at HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital. “Being able to celebrate Rinslet’s graduation with her beautiful family is a testament to the dedication, expertise and compassion of our entire care team.”…
