PLAQUEMINE, La. (WAFB) – Mardi Gras just got a little more special for one couple.
Wisconsin resident Ric U’ren proposed to White Castle native Indya Pierre right before the Krewe of Comogo Parade rolled through the streets of Plaquemine on Sunday evening, Feb. 15.
The bride-to-be says she is happy the special moment happened close to home.
