Sulphur Springs’ Mitchell picks up 1st win for Oklahoma Christian

EDMOND, Okla. (KLTV) – Former Sulphur Springs Wildcat Kaden Mitchell grabbed his first win of the year for Oklahoma Christian on Friday against Lubbock Christian.

Oklahoma Christian won 7-6.

The freshman entered the game in the third inning. Mitchell allowed a leadoff walk before getting two groundouts and a strikeout to get out of the jam. In the fourth inning, Mitchell got Tanner Pachorek to fly out to right field for the first out. Mitchell allowed a single to Roe Forrest in the next at-bat. Forrest stole second base before Mitchell got Kyle Lewis to ground out to third base. The next batter, Hudson Grace, doubled into left field to bring in a run.
