Norman mother convicted of drunk driving to be released from prison

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — Sara Polston, a woman from Norman who admitted to driving drunk and causing a nearly deadly crash, will be released Thursday after serving 70 days of an 8-year sentence.

Micaela Borrego was hit and nearly killed by Sara Polston in 2023, who was allegedly on the way to pick up her kids, going 66 mph in a 25 mph zone.

Krsita Borrego, Micaela’s mother, told News 4, “It just feels very privileged. This is not normal.”
