DALLAS, Texas — A man who says he was stabbed in the throat nearly a week ago in Dallas is still recovering — and believes the person who attacked him remains free.
Joseph Womack said the assault happened in a liquor store parking lot on South Cesar Chavez Boulevard after a stranger asked him for a cigarette. Womack, who has been homeless off and on for 10 years, said the interaction quickly turned violent.
