DENVER (KDVR) — Denver has seen spring-like temperatures in February, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s spring already.
FOX31’s Pinpoint Weather Meteorologist Greg Perez said Denver and all of Colorado are warmer than usual because of La Niña. This is partly why this winter has been unusual, with little snowfall and temperatures nearing 80 degrees in February.

But this warm weather won’t stop the snow.
Just because Colorado hasn’t had a great start to the winter doesn’t mean it won’t see typical snowfall amounts through April. Perez said La Niña is transitioning, and it’s becoming more of a neutral pattern.
