Arrests Made by Westchester County PD & Yonkers PD
Two guns are off the street and a stolen car recovered thanks to some great teamwork by WCPD Patrol officers and partners in the wee hours earlier this week.
At 1:44 a.m. on Tuesday, a WCPD officer was stationary alongside the northbound Bronx River Parkway when a BMW sedan flew by at a high rate of speed. The vehicle entered the Cross County Parkway westbound where the officer made a traffic stop.
When the officer approached the vehicle, the driver sped away and fled southbound on the BRP. The BMW exited on to Bronx River Road, made a U-turn in a parking lot and then struck two parked cars upon exiting.
