Two women were arrested and charged with the stabbing of three other women at a western New York mall on Feb. 13.
Lakeya Richerson, 22, and Joshalyn Paul, 21, were charged with three counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon after allegedly stabbing three women at Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga, N.Y., New York Upstate reported.
Richerson and Paul, both residents of Buffalo, N.Y., allegedly engaged in a knife fight with the three victims in the mall. Cheektowaga Police responded to the incident at approximately 7:15 p.m. local time, per the outlet. The victims, who are currently unidentified, were brought to Erie County Medical Center for treatment after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries.
Richerson and Paul are in custody until their arraignment in Cheektowaga Town Court, according to local outlet WREN.
