CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – Hundreds of visitors lined up at the University of Virginia’s Rotunda on Monday, February 16 to view one of the nation’s earliest printed copies of the Declaration of Independence.
The rare document is one of just 26 surviving Dunlap Broadsides, and was displayed to mark President’s Day and America’s 250th anniversary.
