Gunfire tore into an occupied east Charlotte home Monday evening, leaving four teenagers hurt and a quiet residential block suddenly turned into a crime scene, authorities said.
According to Queen City News, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said the shooting happened in the 10000 block of Battle Court. Four teens were hit by bullets: a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were reported in serious condition, while an 18-year-old woman and another teenager suffered minor injuries. All four were taken to nearby hospitals.
Officers said bullets struck one house and two vehicles, with total damage estimated at nearly $6,000, according to the outlet.
