Stewart County High School (SCHS) Varsity Cheer recently traveled to Orlando, FL for the National High School Cheerleading Championship. This competition is widely regarded as the most prestigious national championship for high school cheerleading & takes place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Roughly 10,000-15,000 teams across the country actively compete for a spot at the NHSCC with only 1,300- 1,500 successfully receiving an invitation. SCHS received their invitation to Nationals in December while competing at the Smoky Mountain Championship in Sevierville.
