Book restriction debate receives mixed reaction during Anderson County library board meeting

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Anderson County Library Board met Thursday to discuss and hear public comment about books in the young adult and children’s sections that some residents consider inappropriate.

This comes months after the state sent letters to libraries that said inappropriate books and material needed to be removed from public libraries.
