6 separate Opelousas shootings leave 1 injured and 4 arrested; more arrests expected

OPELOUSAS, La. (NEWS 15) — Six separate shootings have resulted in at least one injury, four arrests, two arrest warrants issued in another, and two other active investigations, according to the Opelousas Police Department.

Authorities reported a man (pictured) was injured in a shooting on Capri Alley on Thursday, February 12, around 3 a.m. They noted his injuries are not considered life-threatening and the case is still being investigated.
