Work to restart at Rockford’s $400 million Colman Yards development

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The developer behind Rockford’s Colman Yards project says work is set to resume after a series of significant delays.

J. Jeffers and Co. founder and CEO said Tuesday that a new general contractor has been hired to complete the stalled project, which aims to redevelop the 26-acre former Barber-Colman complex on the S. Main Street corridor, at 1300 Rock Street.
