Cold air moves in behind Tuesday’s front, dropping snow levels all the way down to the valley floors. Any snow in the Treasure Valley Tuesday morning should be quick, light, and minor, but the mountains stay active with steady snow showers through early Thursday. Above 6,000 feet, another 6 to 12 inches is likely, with the highest peaks pushing even higher totals. The valley will mostly see spotty flakes and small impacts. The pattern stays cold and unsettled through Friday, then warmer and drier air moves in as we head into the weekend.
