Man convicted of domestic battery

SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) – A man has been sentenced to jail time after being convicted of domestic battery.

David Walker has been convicted in a case that stems from August of last year.

Walker has now been sentenced to the maximum term of 180 days in the Washoe County Jail suspended not to exceed two years, on the following conditions, be placed on formal probation with Sparks Municipal Court to include regular testing for drugs and alcohol, serve two active days in the Washoe County Jail, complete 48 hours of community service, pay a $200 fine plus administrative assessments, pay a $35 domestic violence fee, complete 26 weeks of domestic violence classes, and obey all laws…
